Private Instruction

Richmond Chess offers private instruction for children and adults.  Private lessons can significantly accelerate a player's growth, with a focus on material which is tailored to the student's individual needs.

The fee for private instruction is $44/hour.

Group Instruction

Many central Virginia schools have asked Richmond Chess to begin and/or operate chess instruction programs for their students.  Programs vary in length from four weeks to year-round and can accommodate skill levels from beginner to advanced.  Tuition costs vary according to length of program and number of students.  Please inquire for details.
